NuraTxt Terms & Conditions
The main points. These Terms are a binding agreement, so please read them. In short:
- Sending and receiving messages with NuraTxt is free. The smart features need a subscription after a free trial.
- The subscription is sold and billed by Google Play. It renews automatically, and a free trial turns into a paid subscription, until you cancel in Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy and your rights under consumer law.
- Your messages stay on your phone. You own them and are responsible for what you send.
- The smart features and the optional AI are readings and suggestions that can be wrong. Always check the original message.
- Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
1. About these Terms
- These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and YugCore ([REPLACE_WITH_LEGAL_ENTITY_AND_ADDRESS]) (“YugCore”, “we”, “us”), the publisher of the NuraTxt app for Android (“NuraTxt” or “the app”) and of the website nuratxt.yugcore.com. Our contact details are in section 29.
- By installing, opening or using NuraTxt, or by starting a free trial or subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
- Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Your use of Google Play is also governed by Google’s own terms, and some optional features are subject to the third-party licences described in section 13.
- We have written these Terms to be clear. Headings and summaries are for convenience; the full text of each section applies.
2. Who can use NuraTxt
- You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using apps like NuraTxt without a parent’s consent (for example, the age at which you may manage your own Google account, which is 14, 15 or 16 in some countries).
- If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use NuraTxt only with the permission of your parent or guardian. Your parent or guardian must read and accept these Terms on your behalf, is responsible for your use of the app, and must make or approve any purchase. In India, a person under 18 cannot enter into a binding contract, so any subscription must be bought by an adult.
- NuraTxt is not directed at children under 13.
- You must be legally able to enter into these Terms, and not be barred from using the app under the laws that apply to you (section 25).
- If you use NuraTxt for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.
3. The service
- Free features. NuraTxt is an SMS and MMS app for Android 8.0 and newer. Sending, receiving, reading and deleting messages, notifications, conversations, categories, archive and pin, scheduled messages, word search, link safety warnings, the automatic clean-up of old one-time codes, and the app’s settings are free, need no subscription and work without an internet connection (picture messages need mobile data). We will not move these free features into the subscription.
- Smart features. One-time-code and payment cards in notifications, summaries in the inbox, reminders from your messages, Activity, the money ledger, search answers, the Track button on safe delivery links and the optional on-device AI features require a paid subscription after any free trial (section 10).
- What NuraTxt depends on. NuraTxt runs on your phone and depends on Android, your phone’s maker, your mobile operator and, for the subscription, Google Play. We do not operate the SMS or MMS network and do not run a server that your messages pass through.
- NuraTxt is published for Android only, and only on Google Play. Features may differ by phone model, Android version, country and mobile operator.
4. No NuraTxt account
NuraTxt has no account system. We hold no username, password, phone number or profile for you. The subscription is tied to the Google account you use on Google Play, which is an account with Google, not with us. You are responsible for keeping your phone and your Google account secure, including by using a screen lock, because the app’s data is protected by your phone’s own security (Privacy Policy, section 19).
5. Your licence to use the app
- Subject to these Terms, YugCore grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to download NuraTxt from Google Play and use it on Android devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use.
- NuraTxt is licensed, not sold. YugCore and its licensors own the app, including its code, design, text and graphics, and all rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
- Except where the law allows it regardless of this clause (for example, to make the app work with other software), you may not copy, modify, adapt, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the app, or create works based on it; rent, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute or re-sign it; or remove or alter any notice of ownership.
- Open-source components included in the app are licensed under their own licences, listed on the Open-source licences page and in the app under Settings → About → Open-source licences. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licences.
6. Acceptable use
You must use NuraTxt lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not use it to:
- send spam, bulk or unsolicited commercial messages, or messages that break telemarketing and messaging laws — such as India’s Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018, the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act, or equivalent laws where you are — or send commercial messages without the consent and registration those laws require;
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk, defame, intimidate or abuse anyone, or send hateful or violent content;
- commit fraud, phishing or scams, impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent who you are;
- create, send or store content that is illegal, sexually exploits children, infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or contains malware;
- use the AI features to create content intended to deceive, including presenting AI-generated text as written by a human where that is meant to mislead, or in breach of the use restrictions in section 13;
- get around the app’s installation or subscription checks, use a modified, re-signed or unofficial copy of the app, or obtain the smart features without paying;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt Google Play, your mobile operator’s network, or any service the app relies on, or use automated means to operate the app at a scale no person would;
- help anyone else do any of the above.
You are responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires from the people you message.
7. Your messages and content
- You own your messages. YugCore claims no rights in anything you send, receive, draft or store with NuraTxt.
- We do not see them. Your messages, contacts and attachments are processed and stored on your phone and are not sent to YugCore. We have no copy, and cannot read, moderate, recover or restore them.
- You are responsible for what you send, and for keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. NuraTxt has no backup feature. Deleting a message or conversation cannot be undone.
- Delivery and charges are your operator’s. Whether, when and at what cost a message is delivered depends on your mobile operator and the recipient’s. Operators may charge for SMS and MMS, and may filter, delay or refuse messages. Standard message and data rates may apply.
8. Not for emergencies
NuraTxt is not a replacement for emergency calling. Texting an emergency number (such as 112, 911 or 999) may not be supported by your mobile operator or local emergency service, and a message may be delayed or not delivered. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number. Reminders from NuraTxt are not a medical, safety or life-critical alerting system.
9. Default SMS app, permissions and your phone
- Some features need NuraTxt to be your default SMS app, and most need the Android permissions listed in the Privacy Policy (section 5). You grant and revoke them in Android. Revoking a permission or choosing a different default SMS app may stop related features working; the rest of the app continues.
- As the default SMS app, NuraTxt writes incoming and sent messages to your phone’s shared message store, as Android requires of every default SMS app.
- Phone makers’ battery and background restrictions, Do Not Disturb settings and Android itself can delay or block notifications, scheduled messages and reminders. NuraTxt guides you to the right settings, but cannot override your phone.
10. Subscriptions, free trial and renewal
The smart features are available under an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play. Google Play processes the payment and, in many countries, is the seller of record, under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google’s payments terms. YugCore does not process your payment and never sees your payment details.
- Plans and prices. We offer plans that renew every 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. The plans available to you, their prices in your currency, any taxes, and any free trial or introductory offer are those shown by Google Play before you buy. We may add, change or withdraw plans and offers for new purchases at any time.
- Free trial. Where Google Play offers one, there is one free trial per Google account, of the length shown before you start. Google Play may require a valid payment method to start a trial. At the end of the trial the subscription automatically becomes a paid subscription and you are charged the price shown, unless you cancel in Google Play before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you keep the smart features until the trial ends and are not charged.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription continues and renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and you authorise Google Play to charge the then-current price for each period, until you cancel. There is no minimum term beyond the period you have paid for.
- How to cancel. You can cancel at any time, online, in Google Play: in the app, Settings → Subscription → Manage in Google Play; or in the Play Store app, your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → NuraTxt → Cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep the smart features until the end of the period already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Price changes. If we change the price of an existing subscription, Google Play will notify you in advance as its rules and the law require. In most countries a price increase applies only if you accept it; if you do not, your subscription is cancelled before the new price applies.
- Payment problems. If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may give you a grace period to fix it and may then put the subscription on hold. The smart features may pause until payment succeeds.
- Pending payments. A payment Google Play reports as pending (for example, some UPI payments) does not unlock the smart features until Google Play reports it complete.
- Confirming your subscription. The app confirms your subscription with the Google Play app on your phone when you open it, at most once a day. If no confirmation succeeds for seven days — for example because your phone has had no internet — the smart features pause until one does. Free features are never affected.
- Devices and restore. The subscription works on any of your Android phones signed in to the same Google account, using Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. A subscription belongs to the Google account that bought it and cannot be transferred to another Google account.
- Acknowledgement. Google Play requires each purchase to be confirmed by the app within three days, or Google may refund it automatically. The app does this itself the next time it runs.
- What the subscription provides. While Google Play reports your subscription as active and the app has been able to confirm it, the smart features listed in section 3 are available in the app. They may change over time as described in section 19. The subscription does not guarantee that any reading or suggestion is accurate (sections 12 and 13).
11. Cancellation, refunds and your right to cancel
- Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy. Refunds are decided and paid through Google Play. Shortly after a purchase you may be able to request a refund directly from Google Play (see Google Play’s refund page).
- If Google Play cannot help, write to support@yugcore.com with your Google Play order number (it starts with
GPA.). We will consider your request and, where appropriate, refund through Google Play. We cannot refund through any other channel. - Except where these Terms, Google Play’s policy or the law say otherwise, payments are not refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for unused parts of a billing period after you cancel.
- Your statutory rights come first. If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period (often 14 days), or to a refund or repair when something is faulty, those rights apply in addition to this section and are not reduced by anything in these Terms. How a withdrawal right applies to a subscription that you asked to start immediately, and any amount payable for the time already used, depends on the law where you live and is handled through Google Play.
- If we permanently withdraw the smart features while you are subscribed, we will stop offering renewals and, where Google Play allows it or the law of your country requires it, refund the unused part of your current period through Google Play.
- After a refund, or when a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its paid period, the smart features lock at the app’s next successful check with Google Play, or up to seven days later if the phone is offline.
12. Smart features are readings, not advice
The smart features — a code on a notification, the amount and direction on a payment card, a due date, a reminder, an entry in the money ledger, a summary in the inbox or a search answer — are produced on your phone by fixed rules reading the text of your messages. They can be wrong: a date can be misread, a balance mistaken for an amount due, a payment shown in the wrong direction, a reminder missed or set for the wrong day, or a message in an unfamiliar format not understood.
- Never rely on a card, a ledger entry or a reminder alone. Read the original message, which is always one tap away. It is the only authoritative source.
- The money ledger repeats balances your bank stated and lists the payments the app read since. It never calculates a balance of its own, does not connect to your bank, and is not a bank statement.
- A reminder is not a guarantee that you will be reminded. Use a calendar for anything important.
- Nothing in NuraTxt is financial, legal, medical, tax or other professional advice.
13. Optional on-device AI
- Optional and on your phone. The AI features are off until you turn them on, are part of the subscription, and need a compatible phone. After you agree, the app downloads one or more AI models to your phone and runs them there. The download is free, but may use mobile data if you allow it.
- Third-party models. The models are made by third parties (today, Qwen models by Alibaba Cloud) and are not owned by YugCore. Each model is used under its own licence, named on the Open-source licences page. If a model the app offers comes with use restrictions — for example Google’s Gemma Terms of Use and Prohibited Use Policy, or Meta’s Llama licence and Acceptable Use Policy — you must follow those restrictions when you use that model, and they form part of these Terms for that use. We may change, update or stop offering any model.
- Output. AI output is a suggestion generated automatically. AI features are marked in the app with the YugCore AI border and labels such as “Rewrite with AI”. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, awkward or inappropriate. You decide whether to use it, and you are responsible for anything you send. We claim no ownership of the text the AI produces for you.
- Limits. The AI may refuse to run, or pause, when your phone is too warm, on Battery Saver, or low on memory. It may not be available on every phone.
- You can turn the AI off and delete the models in Settings at any time.
14. Link safety and link previews
- Link safety (free, on by default) checks links on your phone with built-in rules and shows a warning when a link looks risky. It is a best-effort aid: it can miss a dangerous link or warn about a safe one. Whether to open a link is your decision.
- Fetch link previews (off by default) contacts the website a link points to when you turn it on, as described in the Privacy Policy (section 10).
15. Installation only from Google Play
- NuraTxt is distributed only through Google Play. A copy obtained anywhere else is not ours, may have been altered, and is not covered by these Terms or by our support.
- If Android reports that a released copy of the app was installed by something other than Google Play, the app shows a button to get NuraTxt from Google Play instead of its normal screens. Incoming messages continue to be received and saved on the phone while that screen is showing. If Android does not report an installer, the app opens normally.
- You may not circumvent that check. It is a check made on the phone, not a guarantee, and we do not promise that it cannot be bypassed.
16. Third-party services
- NuraTxt works with services run by others: Google Play and Google Play Billing, Android and Google services on your phone, your mobile operator, the site that hosts AI models, the websites links point to, and any app you share content to. They have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes, charges or data practices.
- These Terms are between you and YugCore only. Google is not a party to them and is not responsible for NuraTxt.
17. Intellectual property and feedback
- “NuraTxt”, “YugCore”, the NuraTxt logo and related names and logos are trademarks of YugCore. You may not use them without our written permission, except to refer to the app accurately.
- Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. Other names belong to their owners.
- If you send us ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them freely and without payment to improve NuraTxt. Please do not send us confidential information or other people’s content.
18. Privacy
Your privacy matters to how NuraTxt is built. The Privacy Policy explains what stays on your phone, the limited personal data we receive, and your rights. Where the law requires, it is part of these Terms.
19. Updates, changes and availability
- We may release updates that fix problems, change or add features, or comply with law or Google Play’s policies. Some updates may be needed for the app or the subscription to keep working.
- We may change, suspend or stop offering any feature, or the app, for legal, security, technical or business reasons. If a change materially reduces what your subscription provides, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can, and you may cancel; where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund for the rest of the period, you will receive it through Google Play. Section 11 applies if we permanently withdraw the smart features.
- We do not promise that the app will be available on every phone, Android version or operator, or will work without interruption.
20. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you, NuraTxt is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free; that every message will be delivered, received, stored or notified; that scheduled messages will be sent at exactly the chosen time; or that any link verdict, smart-feature reading or AI suggestion will be accurate.
Some countries do not allow some of these exclusions. Where that is the case, they apply only to the extent the law permits, and you keep every guarantee and right that the law says cannot be excluded.
21. Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you, YugCore and its owners, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of data, messages, profits, revenue, business or goodwill, arising out of or relating to NuraTxt or these Terms, however caused.
- To the same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to NuraTxt or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the NuraTxt subscription in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 50 or its equivalent in your local currency.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law; nor does it affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the consumer laws of India, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Australia.
- If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK: we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
22. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate YugCore for claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) brought by third parties that arise from your messages or content, your misuse of NuraTxt, or your breach of these Terms or of the law. This does not apply where the law does not allow consumers to be bound by such a term.
23. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using NuraTxt at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Google Play.
- If you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or if we must for legal or security reasons, we may end your licence to use the app. Because there is no account, this can mean withdrawing the app from Google Play or refusing to run a copy that fails the installation check; we cannot reach into your phone or your messages.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after these Terms end — including your content, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and the general terms — continue.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to reflect changes to NuraTxt, the law or Google Play’s policies. We will change the “Last updated” date and record the change below. For a material change that affects you, we will tell you in advance — for example in the app’s release notes or in the app — and the change applies from the date stated. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using NuraTxt and cancel any subscription before the change applies. Where the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask for it.
25. Export controls and sanctions
You must comply with the export-control and sanctions laws that apply to you and to NuraTxt, including those of India, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United Nations. You may not use or download NuraTxt if you are on a government list of restricted or sanctioned parties, or in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and you may not export the app in breach of those laws. We may restrict availability of the app in particular countries.
26. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the points below, the courts at [REPLACE_WITH_VENUE], India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or NuraTxt.
- If you are a consumer, you keep your home-country protections. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts, or before the consumer forum or commission, of the place where you live where the law allows.
- In India, you may also approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us (section 29) so we can try to resolve the problem. Most purchase questions are resolved quickly with a Google Play order number.
27. Your consumer rights by region
- India. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the rules made under it. You may raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (section 29).
- European Union and European Economic Area. You have the rights given by EU and national consumer law, including legal guarantees of conformity for digital content and services and, where it applies, a right of withdrawal. Nothing in these Terms limits them.
- United Kingdom. You have the rights given by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer law, including that digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these Terms limits them.
- Australia. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees.
- United States. Some states do not allow certain limitations of warranties or liability, so some of sections 20 and 21 may not apply to you. Automatic-renewal and free-trial terms are set out clearly in section 10, and you can cancel online at any time in Google Play.
- Elsewhere. You keep every right the consumer law of your country gives you that cannot be excluded by contract.
28. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and any licence terms referred to in them, are the whole agreement between you and YugCore about NuraTxt and replace any earlier terms.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it applies to the fullest extent allowed and the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a term, we do not give up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms or your licence. We may transfer them to a business that takes over NuraTxt, which will be bound by them; this will not reduce your rights.
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as network or power failures, actions of mobile operators or Google, natural disasters or government action.
- Electronic agreement and notices. You agree that these Terms are formed electronically and are valid as such, including under section 10A of India’s Information Technology Act, 2000. We may give you notices in the app, in release notes, or on this website; you may give us notices by email to the addresses in section 29.
- No third-party rights. No one other than you and YugCore has any right to enforce these Terms, except as the law requires.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only, and the English version governs to the extent the law allows.
