NuraTxt is a complete SMS and MMS app with a quiet superpower: it reads your messages on your phone and turns codes, payments, bills and deliveries into things you can act on. Features marked Free are free forever; features marked Smart are part of the subscription.
In the notification
Act before you even open the app
NuraTxt posts its notifications straight from Android the moment a message arrives — even when the app is closed. With the smart features, the notification itself tells you what the message means.
- One-time codes in large type, with Copy code. If the message names an amount, you see what you are about to authorise. Smart
- Payments as ↑ Paid, ↓ Received or ₹ due, with the bank and account ending. Smart
- UPI mandates and collect requests shown as Approve — so a request for money is never mistaken for money received. Approving happens in your UPI app, never in NuraTxt. Smart
- Money on hold shown as Blocked, not as a payment. Smart

Send and receive texts and picture messages as your default SMS app. Import the messages already on your phone in one tap.
Calm, organised inbox
Conversations grouped under Today, Yesterday and earlier. Pin, archive with a swipe, mark read or unread, and filter with category chips.

Search by word
A fast search index on your phone finds any message by its words, including messages written in Indian scripts.
Scheduled messages
Write now, send later. Your phone sends the message at the time you choose, even if the app is closed.
Message several people
Send one message to several people at once. If some sends fail, NuraTxt tells you how many went through and lets you retry the rest.
Tap a number
Phone numbers inside a message become tappable: call, message or copy. It never dials by itself.
Quick replies
One-tap replies such as "On my way" under incoming messages. Add your own or remove the ones you don't use.
Old codes cleaned up
Optionally delete old one-time-code messages automatically after 1 hour, 6 hours, a day, 3 days or a week.
Link safety
Links in incoming messages are checked on your phone for warning signs — shortened links, unencrypted addresses, look-alike names, raw IP addresses and more. A warning is never behind a paywall.
Lock-screen privacy
Choose whether messages show on the lock screen. Sending or deleting from a notification always needs your phone unlocked.
Comfortable to read
Light, dark or system theme, adjustable text size, and an option to make floating bars solid instead of see-through.
Smart features
Your messages, understood
The smart features read each message on your phone with clear, fixed rules — no server, no guessing in the cloud. They come with a free trial and are billed by Google Play.
Reminders that write themselves Smart
Bills, appointments, trips, deliveries and renewals mentioned in your messages turn into reminders without you lifting a finger.
- Just ask. Messages like "remind me at 6", "remind me in 2 hours" or "remind me every month on the 5th" become reminders — including messages you send yourself.
- Missed calls become a Call back reminder.
- Eight Indian languages. Bills and "remind me" requests are understood in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, as well as English.
- Right on time. A bill reminds you in the morning it is due; an appointment two hours before; a trip the evening before.
- Loud only when it matters. A bill due today or an appointment at a stated time gets a heads-up; everything else arrives quietly.
- Done means done. Mark a reminder done anywhere, add it to your calendar, or set your own on any message with the bell.
The app's own screens are in English.
Paid bills close themselves
When a payment arrives that matches an open bill — same amount, after the bill, from your bank — NuraTxt marks the bill paid and stops reminding you. It only links them when there is exactly one match, so it never closes the wrong bill.
Mute a sender
Getting reminders you don't want from one sender? Turn them off for that sender in one step, and turn them back on any time.
Activity Smart
Four messages about one order become one card that updates: ordered, shipped, out for delivery, delivered. Bills, trips and appointments work the same way. Finished things move to Archive — they are never deleted.
Money ledger Smart
For each account, the last balance your bank stated — with when it said so — and the payments since. NuraTxt never calculates a balance of its own, because a guessed balance eventually lies.
Search answers Smart
"When is my next appointment?", "Which bills are pending?", "How much did I spend last month?" — answered in one line built from your messages, with the messages underneath.
Inbox summaries Smart
Each conversation row says what the latest message is about: the amount in its own column, the code itself, "Delivery done", or the order and booking number.
Today at a glance Smart
The top of your inbox tells you how many things need you today, with your reminders on swipeable cards: Done, Message or Call back in one tap.
Track in one tap Smart
When a delivery message contains exactly one link and that link checked out, the notification offers Track to open it straight away.
Optional on-device AI
AI that stays on your phone
NuraTxt can add AI features that run entirely on your phone. They are off until you turn them on, part of the subscription, and need a 64-bit phone with about 4 GB of memory or more.
- Rewrite with AI — turn a draft into a Casual, Friendly or Professional version, then choose whether to use it.
- Smarter quick replies — suggested replies that fit the conversation.
- Ask AI about your messages — the AI helps understand your question; the answer always comes from your own messages, never written by the AI.
AI suggestions can be wrong. You always see a rewrite before it is used, and nothing is sent without you.
How the AI stays private
- The models come from a third-party publisher (today, Qwen models by Alibaba Cloud) and are downloaded to your phone after you agree — about 1 GB.
- After that, it runs on your phone with no internet needed. Your drafts and messages are never sent to us or to any AI service.
- Suggested replies wait while your phone is warm, on Battery Saver or with the screen off; anything you ask for runs unless the phone is too hot, and the app tells you why.
- Turn it off and delete the model in Settings at any time.

₹1,00,000, not ₹100,000. Amounts are grouped the way your bank writes them.
Bank and brand names
On the smart notification cards, sender IDs like VM-HDFCBK are shown as the bank or brand they belong to.
UPI-aware
Collect requests, mandates, blocked amounts and pending payments are each called what they are.
