Privacy
Your messages, read and stored 100% on your phone.
Not "we protect your data on our servers" — your messages never reach a server of ours, because NuraTxt doesn't have one that receives them. Here is how that works, and exactly where its limits are.
Stays on your phone
- Your messages, drafts and attachments

- What NuraTxt works out: codes, amounts, bills, reminders, Activity, the money ledger

- The links in your messages and their safety checks (unless you turn on link previews)
- Anything you give the optional AI, and the AI model itself

What can leave — and only then
- Your mobile operator carries the texts you send and delivers picture messages to you. That is how SMS works for every app.
- Google Play, through the Play Store app on your phone, sells and checks the subscription.
- The AI model's host, once, if you choose to download the optional AI.
- A website, only if you turn on link previews (off by default).
- Us, only if you email us — for help or to send a crash report you have read first.
Our promises
Privacy you don't have to take on trust
Each of these describes how the app is built today. If any of them changes, we will say so in the release notes and the Privacy Policy before it takes effect.
No account
There is no NuraTxt account, no sign-in and no password. We don’t know who you are unless you write to us, review the app or subscribe.
No server for your messages
The app sends your messages to nobody but your mobile operator, and only when you send them. We could not read them even if we were asked to.
No ads, ever
NuraTxt shows no advertising, uses no advertising ID and shares nothing with advertisers or data brokers. We do not sell personal information.
No analytics in the app
No analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting library is built into the app. Nothing about how you use the app is ever sent to us.
No cloud AI
The optional AI runs on your phone after a one-time download you agree to. Your drafts and messages are never sent to an AI service.
Off by default
Apart from downloading picture messages from your operator, anything that would contact another company's server about your messages — like link previews — is off until you turn it on.
Crash reports you read first
If the app hits an error, the report stays on your phone. You can read every word, then email it to us — or delete it. It never contains your messages.
No Android backup
NuraTxt opts out of Android's automatic app backup, so the operating system does not copy your messages to a cloud backup.
Lock-screen control
Choose whether messages show on the lock screen. Replying or deleting from a notification needs your phone unlocked.
The honest limits
What no SMS app can promise
"Read and stored 100% on your phone" describes what NuraTxt does. These things are outside any SMS app's control, so we tell you about them instead of hiding them.
- Your mobile operator. Text messages travel over your operator's network, are not encrypted end to end, and are kept by operators under their own rules and the law.
- Android, your phone's maker and Google. The operating system, the Play Store and your Google account have their own policies. Some phone makers back up text messages to their own cloud; NuraTxt cannot switch that off.
- Other apps on your phone. Any app you have given SMS permission to — including another SMS app — can read the phone's shared message store.
- The people you message. They keep their own copies and can forward, screenshot or back them up.
- Your phone's security. NuraTxt relies on Android's own encryption of app storage and does not add its own. On an unlocked phone, a phone with no screen lock, or a rooted or infected phone, the app's data can be read. Please set a screen lock.
- Legal requests. Like any company, we must follow the law. We hold none of your messages or contacts, so there is nothing of that kind we could hand over.
This website
The app never tracks you. This website asks first.
The NuraTxt app contains no analytics. This website is different: on its marketing pages, and only if you press Accept, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to count visits and learn which pages help people. If you press Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, nothing is loaded.
Our legal and help pages — the Privacy Policy, Terms, Your data, Support and Licences pages — never load analytics at all. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the marketing pages. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Delete everything, any time
Everything NuraTxt holds is on your phone. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it, and it is gone — no request to us, no account to close.
