How it works
Every message, understood on your phone
NuraTxt does its thinking where your messages already are. Here is exactly what happens — from installing the app to a bill reminder at nine in the morning.
Getting started
Setup takes about a minute. There is no account to create.

Install from Google Play
NuraTxt is published only on Google Play. Copies from anywhere else are not ours, and the app checks where it was installed from.

Allow access
NuraTxt asks for SMS and notification access (required) and contacts (optional, to show names). Each permission is used only for what it says.

Your messages are imported
The messages already on your phone are copied into the app's private storage on the phone. Nothing is uploaded.

Keep it reliable
Some phone makers stop apps in the background. NuraTxt shows the right setting for your phone, so messages and reminders arrive on time.

Make it your default
Once you have used NuraTxt for a while, it offers to become your default SMS app. You can also set it any time in Settings.
When a message arrives
From "ding" to done, without leaving your phone
This all happens on your phone in a moment — whether NuraTxt is open or not.
The smart parts of this (the card, the summary, the reminder) are shown with the subscription. Plain notifications, storage and link warnings are always free.
- 1 · Received
Android hands the message to NuraTxt, which saves it to your phone's message store and shows the notification straight away — even if the app was closed.
- 2 · Read on the phone
Clear rules work out what the message is about — money, a delivery, travel, an appointment, an offer, a code, a notice or a person — and what it says: done, in progress, coming up or needs you. The amount, date and reference are picked out too.
- 3 · Grouped
Messages that share an order number, booking reference or payment reference become one item in Activity, so four updates about one parcel are one card.
- 4 · Remembered
If the message names a deadline, a reminder is set on your phone, timed for when you can still act on it.
- 5 · Checked
Any link is checked on your phone for warning signs, and the notification shows the result.
- 6 · Nothing sent
None of this involves a server. NuraTxt does not have one that receives your messages.
Rules, not guesswork
Why NuraTxt uses clear rules instead of a cloud AI
Private
Rules run on your phone, so your messages never have to go anywhere to be understood.
Fast and cool
Rules are instant and use almost no battery. Your phone does not heat up reading your inbox.
Honest
A rule either finds the amount or it doesn't. When it isn't sure, NuraTxt shows the plain message instead of guessing.
Readings, not advice. The rules can misread an unusual message — a date, an amount or the direction of a payment. The original message is always one tap away, and it is the thing to trust. Never rely on a card, a reminder or the ledger alone for a payment or a deadline.
Reminders
Reminded when you can still act
A reminder that rings when it is already too late is not a reminder. NuraTxt times each one from what the message is about.

If a payment arrives that matches an open bill exactly, the bill is marked paid and its reminder is cleared. Bill reminders offer a single Remind tomorrow from the notification. Reminders are never set for a moment that has already passed.
Search
Answers made from your own messages
NuraTxt keeps a search index on your phone, so any word in any message is found instantly — in English and in Indian scripts. That is free.
With the smart features, you can also ask a question. NuraTxt works out what you mean — "pending bills", "spent last month", "next appointment" — and builds a one-line answer from facts it has already read out of your messages, with those messages underneath.
The answer is always assembled from your stored messages, never invented. If NuraTxt can't be sure, it shows the matching messages without an answer line.

The subscription
Checked with Google Play, on your phone
When you open NuraTxt — at most once a day — it asks the Google Play app on your phone whether your subscription is active. Nothing is sent to us, and there is no account.
If your phone has no internet for a while, the smart features keep working for seven days after the last successful check. From the fifth day a quiet line reminds you to connect. Plain SMS is never affected.
Optional AI
Downloaded once, then fully on-device
If you turn on the AI features, NuraTxt shows you the download size and asks first. The models — from a third-party publisher — are downloaded to your phone, and from then on everything runs there, offline.
The AI only runs when you ask, or for suggested replies when your phone is cool and not on Battery Saver. If your phone gets too hot, it pauses and says why.

Never lose a message
Before anything clever, NuraTxt has to be a reliable SMS app. Every incoming message is notified by Android directly and saved to your phone's message store first — the smart parts come after, and if any of them fail, your message is still there.
